The TV-2 was designed by Hickok for the US military. This an impressive looking tester with no less than 5 meters on the front panel. It takes a little longer to set up than most testers, but should give more accurate results than most testers. Of course, this tester uses the transconductance method for measuring tube quality. I don't recommend this tester for someone who is not technically savvy. It takes a bit to set it up correctly. This tester is well suited for the audiophile or antique radio enthusiast.
